UPDATE!

Event Planning Internship:
The club is getting ready for the spring fundraiser! Springfest is just around the corner and the school is buzzing about the event. Pretty soon all of the students in the school will have to start raising money to reach their quota. What is the Event Planning Internship doing to prepare? Well, the group of girls is gathering information and is starting to publicize.

Performing at Springfest this year will be "A Night on Broadway, A Musical Revue.” Also at the event will be a live auction, silent auction, food, and fun! The Event Planning Internship is working hard to make this event a success.

February Update

Hey Girls,

The time is here for Ambassadors Club to get up and running on Springfest. Even though there are Homeroom Reps for special tasks, as the school ambassadors we can always help publicize and reach our quotas! Besides that, our last event was Game Night and that was on February 8, 2008! It was a fun night of food and games with our fellow incoming freshmen to make them feel at home. That’s all for now ladies, but I will keep everyone posted on any new events taking place. Don’t forget to join us at our next meeting that will take place on March 6, 2008.

See everyone there 

Event Planning

The Event Planning Club is a group in which students can join and learn all of the intricate necessities about planning a social event. Students can learn how to fold napkins into cool and fun shapes or how to set a dinner table for a five course meal. In the past there have been guests such as chefs and caterers that show students how to make a simple dish or how the business works.

Students in the Event Planning Internship have recently helped out with the Etiquette 101 which gave prospective students an opportunity to learn proper etiquette. They are given an extravagant meal and the tools to learn and experience a proper meal.

This group is lead by Ms. Jamie Chabura who is the Events Coordinator at the school. She helps to create our Fall Fundraiser and Springfest. The club helps out with details on both of these major events as well as many others.
